Mina Glik

Mina Glik wurde 1895 in Grinkiškis, einer kleinen Stadt im heutigen Litauen, geboren. Sie heiratete und bekam mit ihrem Mann, dem Schuhmacher Shevakh Glik, drei Söhne. Die Familie lebte in einer Fünfzimmerwohnung in der Altstadt von Kaunas. Am 24. Juni 1941 besetzte die Wehrmacht die Stadt. Kurz darauf musste Mina Glik mit ihrer Familie ins neu errichtete Ghetto ziehen. Im Sommer 1944 wurde sie in das Konzentrationslager Stutthof bei Danzig verschleppt. Dort verliert sich die Spur von Mina Glik.

Mina Glik was born in 1895 in the small town of Grinkiškis, today in Lithuania. She married the shoemaker Shevakh Glik, and they had three sons. The family lived in a five-room apartment in the historic district of Kovno. On June 24th 1941 the Wehrmacht occupied the city. Shortly thereafter, Mina Glik and her family were forced to move into a newly established ghetto. In the summer of 1944, they were deported to the Stutthof concentration camp near Gdańsk. There is no further information about the fate of Mina Glik.
