Gershon Lazorovitz lebte in Marjampol, einer Distrikthauptstadt im Süden Litauens. Er war im Vorstand der jüdischen Gemeinde des Ortes. Kurz nach dem Einmarsch deutscher Truppen im Sommer 1941 wurden die jüdischen Bewohner von Marjampol in einer stillgelegten Kaserne interniert. Einige Tage später erschossen Angehörige eines SS-Einsatzkommandos und litauische Hilfspolizisten dort etwa 8.000 Juden. Wahrscheinlich war auch Gershon Lazorovitz unter den Ermordeten.

Gershon Lazorovitz lived in Marijampolė, a regional capital in southern Lithuania. He was on the board of the local Jewish community. Shortly after German troops invaded in the summer of 1941, the Jews of Marijampolė were interned in an abandoned barracks. Some days later, members of an SS Mobile Killing Unit and Lithuanian auxiliary police shot about 8,000 Jews there. It's likely that Gershon Lazorovitz was among the dead.
