Fortuna Farchy

Fortuna Farchy wurde in Plovdiv geboren, der zweitgrößten Stadt Bulgariens. Sie zog in die Hauptstadt Sofia, wo sie mit ihrem Ehemann Michel zusammen lebte. Noch vor Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs ging Fortuna Farchy nach Italien. Bis 1943 wohnte sie in Mailand. Dann wurde Fortuna Farchy nach Auschwitz deportiert. Von dort kehrte sie nicht mehr zurück.

Fortuna Farchy was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second largest city. She moved to the capital, Sofia, where she lived with her husband, Michel. Before the outbreak of World War II, Fortuna Farchy went to Italy. She lived in Milan until 1943, when she was deported to Auschwitz. She never came back.
