Händler ermordet 1941 in Olita/Alytus

Moshe Yudkovski wurde 1900 im litauischen Butrimonys geboren. Er war Händler und lebte mit seiner Frau Shprintza in seinem Heimatort. Ende Juni 1941 besetzte die deutsche Wehrmacht die Stadt. In ihrem Gefolge befanden sich SS-Einsatzkommandos, die sofort mit der planmäßigen Ermordung der litauischen Juden begannen. Moshe Yudkovski wurde im August 1941 in das nahegelegene Alytus verschleppt und dort von SS-Angehörigen und litauischen Hilfspolizisten erschossen. Er war 41 Jahre alt.

Moshe Yudkovski was born in 1900 in the Lithuanian town of Butrimonys. He was a merchant and lived with his wife Shprintza in the town of his birth. At the end of June 1941 the German Wehrmacht occupied the town. The troops were quickly followed by SS-Mobile Killing Units, which immediately began with the systematic murder of the Lithuanian Jews. Moshe Yudkovski was deported in August 1941 to the nearby town of Alytus and shot there by members of the SS and Lithuanian auxiliary police. He was 41 years old.
