Tsilya Eyvin wurde 1925 geboren. Sie lebte in Trostyanets, einer ukrainischen Kleinstadt am südlichen Bug. Tsilya war noch Schülerin, als im Juli 1941 die Deutsche Wehrmacht die Stadt besetzte. Der Armee folgte die Einsatzgruppe D, deren Kommandos sofort mit der Ermordung der örtlichen Juden begannen. Viele Juden von Trostyanets starben schon in den ersten Wochen der Besatzung. Unter den Opfern war auch Tsilya Eyvin. Sie war etwa 16 Jahre alt.

Tsilya Eyvin was born in 1925. She lived in Trostyanets, a small Ukrainian town on the Southern Bug River. Tsilya was still a school girl when the German Wehrmacht occupied the town in July 1941, the troops were followed by Mobile Killing Unit D, whose commandos immediately began to murder the local Jewish population. Many Jews of Trostyanets died in the first weeks of the occupation. Among the victims was Tsilya Eyvin. She was about 16 years old.
