Riva Etl Ullman

Riva Etl Ullman wurde in der lettischen Hafenstadt Libau geboren. Dort lebte sie mit ihrem Mann Pesach als Ende Juni 1941 die Deutsche Wehrmacht die Stadt besetzte. In den folgenden Monaten führten Angehörige der SS-Einsatzgruppe A zusammen mit lettischne Polizisten mehrere Massenerschießungen durch, bei denen sie den Großteil der jüdischen Bevölkerung ermordeten. Auch Riva Etl Ullman wurde ermordet. Die genauen Umstände ihres Todes sind nicht bekannt. Sie war 59 Jahre alt.

Riva Etl Ullman was born in the Latvian port town of Lipaja. She and her husband Pesach were living there when the German Wehrmacht occupied the town at the end of June 1941. In the months that followed, members of the SS Mobile Killing Unit A, together with Latvian police, carried out several mass shooting operations, in which they murdered the majority of the Jewish population. Riva Etl Ullman, was among those murdered. The exact circumstances of her death are unknown. She was 59 years old.
