Moses Fels

Händler/Kaufmann, geboren 1893 in Lemberg/Lwów/Lwiw, ermordet 1942 in Belzec/Bełżec (VL)

Moses Fels kam in Lemberg zur Welt. Er wurde Händler und zog mit seiner Frau Sara und seinem Sohn nach Krakau im Süden Polens. Noch vor Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkriegs zogen sie in die Kleinstadt Jedlice. Im September 1939 marschierte die deutsche Wehrmacht ein. Im Sommer 1942 trieben die Besatzer Moses Fels, seine Familie und alle Juden von Jedlice in die nahe gelegene Stadt Krosno. Von dort aus wurden sie in das Vernichtungslager Belzec deportiert und in den Gaskammern des Lagers ermordet. Moses Fels war 49 Jahre alt.

Moses Fels was born in Lvov. He was a merchant and moved with his wife Sara and son to Krakow in southern Poland. Before the outbreak of World War II, they moved to the town of Jedlice. In September 1939 the German Army arrived there. In the summer of 1942 the occupiers forced Moses Fels, his family and all the other Jews in Jedlice to move to the nearby town of Krosno. From there, the Jews were deported to the extermination camp Belzec and murdered in the camp's gas chambers. Moses Fels was 49 years old.
