Simone Lopez-Silva wurde am 25. Juni 1904 in Bordeaux geboren. Nachdem die Wehrmacht Frankreich im Juni 1940 besetzt hatte, begannen die Vorbereitungen zur Deportation der dortigen Juden. Wahrscheinlich verhafteten deutsche Polizisten und französische Gendarmen Simone Lopez-Silva in der Nacht vom 10. auf den 11. Januar 1944 und brachten sie nach Drancy. Von dort wurde sie am 20. Januar 1944 in das Vernichtungslager Auschwitz deportiert und dort vermutlich direkt nach ihrer Ankunft mit Giftgas erstickt. Simone Lopez-Silva war 39 Jahre alt.

Simone Lopez-Silva was born on 25 June 1904 in Bordeaux. After the Wehrmacht occupied France in June 1940, preparations began for the deportation of the Jews. It’s likely that German police and French gendarmes arrested Simone Lopez-Silva during the night of 10-11 January 1944 and took her to Drancy. From there, she was deported on 20 January 1944 to the Auschwitz extermination camp, where she was asphyxiated with poison gas, probably right after her arrival. Simone Lopez-Silva was 39 years old.
