Wera Jermak

Wera Jermak lebte in Rostow am Don im Süden der Sowjetunion. Sie wohnte in einer hauptsächlich von den Juden bewohnten Straße. Am 2. August 1942 verhafteten das SS-Einsatzkommando 10a und die Geheime Feldpolizei Gruppe 13 rund 700 Personen in der Stadt, von denen sie 400 ermordeten. Unter den Inhaftierten war auch Wera Jermak. Seitdem hat man nie mehr etwas von ihr gehört.

Wera Jermak lived in Rostov-on-Don, in the southern Soviet Union. She lived on a street where many Jewish families resided. On 2 August 1942 the Wehrmacht captured the embattled city for the second time. SS- mobile killing unit 10a and group 13 of the Secret Military Police arrested about 700 People in the city, and murdered 400 of them. Wera Jermak was among those seized. She was not heard from again.
