Moshele Bars

Moshele Bars lebte in Przasnysz, einer Kleinstadt bei Warschau. Im September 1939 besetzte die Wehrmacht die Stadt. Bereits vorher waren die meisten Juden aus der Stadt geflohen. Die Verbliebenen litten fortan unter ständigen Übergriffen und Demütigungen der Besatzer. Ende 1941 deportierte die SS sie in Lastwagen in das Ghetto in Maków Mazowiecki. Zwei Jahre später wurden sie in das Vernichtungslager Treblinka verschleppt. Die genauen Umstände des Todes von Moshele Bars sind nicht bekannt.

Moshele Bars lived in Przasnysz, a small town near Warsaw. In September 1939 the Wehrmacht occupied the town. Most of the Jews had fled the advancing troops. Those left behind were immediately subjected to the occupier’s constant attacks and humiliations. At the end of 1941 the SS deported them in lorries to the ghetto in Maków Mazowiecki. Two years later they were deported again, this time to the Treblinka Extermination Camp. The exact circumstances of Moshele Bars’s death are unknown.
