Wolf Koritzki

Drucker ermordet 1944 in Klooga (AL von Vaivara)

Wolf Koritzki lebte in der heute litauischen Hauptstadt Wilna. Er wurde Drucker und heiratete die Näherin Mira Rozhanksi. Das Paar hatte einen Sohn und eine Tochter. Ende Juni 1941 besetzte die deutsche Wehrmacht Wilna, und Familie Koritzki musste im Ghetto leben und Zwangsarbeit leisten. Im Sommer 1943 wurde Wolf Koritzki in das Konzentrationslager Klooga in Estland deportiert. Kurz vor der Befreiung des Lagers durch die Rote Armee ermordeten SS-Männer die Lagerinsassen und verbrannten deren Leichen. Einer der Ermordeten war Wolf Koritzki.

Wolf Koritzki lived in Vilnius, today the Lithuanian capital. He was a printer, and he was married to the seamstress Mira Rozhanksi. They had a son and a daughter. In late June 1941 the German Wehrmacht occupied Vilnius, and the Koritzkis had to live in the ghetto and work as forced labourers. In the summer of 1943, Wolf Koritzki was deported to the Klooga concentration camp in Estonia. Just before the Red Army liberated the camp, the SS murdered its inmates and burned their corpses. Wolf Koritzki was among those murdered.
